This collection was good collection.....for someone like Stella McCartney. NOT for Chloe.

I thought Chloe left that whole Parisian-boho-vintage aesthetic two seasons ago!!

I liked the direction that Paulo was heading in. I thought he had it right but just needed to make it a little more Parisian.

This collection is pretty but its too layered and flowery for Chloe. The styling sucked. If he cleaned the styling up a bit, it would be more true to his own aesthetic.

Also, the dress that Ali Stephens is wearing is hideous. It looks like a maids dress!!!

Reviewing the collection and seeing the details, there seems to be an over reliance on embellishment and "stuck-on" embroidery which cheapens the clothing and destroys the furs. This is something that is easily and cheaply done by the Zaras and Antik Batik's of the fashion world.

I don't agree that this is an attempt to Philo's Chloe era. I feel this collection definitely has a PAM stamp - it's Edwardian/vintage vibe has a punkish toughness which he did to greater effect with the previous Fall/Winter collection. It's not straightforwardly pretty but darkly pretty kind of gothic. The shoes are hardcore and have an eighties vibe.

In a recent Elle interview he was strident in stating that he isn't a fan of conventional pretty and this fact has probably shortened his tenure at the house. He produces clothes that aren't particularly easy to wear, don't look great until you put them on and - I feel - are slightly skewed toward a younger audience. Previously the Chloe has appealed to all ages.

im sure we will see him somewhere , he is talented but his aesthetic was to minimalistic and edgy for chloe.

It's really too bad Paolo is fired...I kind of liked what he was doing with Chloe.

I second that, I really started to like him..

And the collection is great, I love it & just can't get enough! As Edita Vilkeviciute said: music fantastic, catwalk fantastic, clothes fantastic, everything fantastic. Oh, and the shoes fantastic as well!
