Selfridges at Oxford St are now stocking Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony, but there is only a small selection of pieces. The pieces were wonderful and the fabric was very high quality and gorgeous, however, I still think Selfridges prices are too high - e.g. £400 for a dress. For Olsen fans', they are also stocking Elizabeth & James which has a slightly larger selection than Sevigny.

I saw this in person the other day and honestly it's totally underwhelming.

Colours even

Agreed.

I like some of it, it seems very of-the-moment, to me.

there is a story about opening ceremony in todays NY Times. it said the store had 4,000 chloe sevigny garments and there are only "remnants" left...

apparently the collaboration is sucessful!

Fashion is where she needs to be...she's a great actress but she has an amazing eye for what is hot at the moment. Her clothes were totally on point...and so different than any celeb line. As far as quality...defintiely only Chloe and The Row...

she is so good on Big Love.
I can't wait for it to start again. Addicting!
I do think she is always naturally stylish.

ohh crap. remnants?
so is that it? will they renew stock?
i'm over in NYC in a couple of weeks and was scraping together my wages for a piece from the range. it's the only range i'd consider buying from (along wiht the row) because they're pieces that are so geniuinely lovely regardless of who the designer is.

craap i hope it's not all gone!

Barney's in SF had several of the pieces in. None of the shapes stood out to me. The fabric was a bit flimsier in person that I had expected it to be. But I liked it

I just got back from New York on Friday and I found Opening Ceremony seriously over-priced and disapointing, in what look like a run-down/rough street.
