This was probably designed by someone inside the house so I'm holding back my comments. I can't wait to see what the new designer, whoever it might be, designs. So far, so bad xD.

This is terrible. What a huge disappointment.

I quite like it. Haven't seen any visuals other than what's on this thread but in particular I liked-

the minimalised Missoni-esque one shoulder zig-zag graphic, blanket dress

and the blue thigh-slit maxi with bateau/yoke neckline with grecian-ish embellishment.

a 70s-ish boho ethno vibe faced up, contrasted, with modernist graphics or grecian classicism is one thing I'm seeing on the horizon.

Whilst I lament the way it had to end for John, I don't regret his departure from a design perspective. He'd become too insular and the House needed to re-engage in a dialogue with trend, freshen up. I take what I've seen of this collection as a sign of a step in the right direction.

I think that is a visually pleasant collection with new trends that weren't there at Galliano's Era. But I'm still looking for more outfits to redefine my opinion.

I'm curious about what will happen to Christian Dior in the future, I hope that the magic, the craftmanship, the glamour and beauty don't desapear with the next head designer!

Honestly, after what Galliano had been churning on his last seasons in the helm of CD this is quite a nice surprise. Chic, understated clothes who seem quite appropriate for the Resort/Cruise crowd.

Those big graphic blanket dresses seem sooooo adorable. And then there's the evening gown, the ladies-who-lunch dress, the airport/traveling/shopping look and then the accesories.

Very very well balanced. I like the change. I honestly think this is quite good

Worst collection I have seen in a while. I always look foward to Dior shows/collections because I know I am going to get some thing crazy and out of the box. This is shocking, its so normal. It looks like some department store range . They need Galliano back pronto, or else they will go bankrupt with this rubbish

I actually dont think its all that bad, however, it does'nt exactly fit the Dior image.

Regardless, its far and away better than what Gucci has for this season.

It doesn't look like Dior because Dior won't be the same anyway. Of course, the drama factor is missing but it's a good collection anyway. I'm just intrigued to know who designed this

If Galliano, who is one of the most exciting designers of our time, couldn't spice up Dior then I doubt anyone can.
