The dresses in the top row of 27 are hideous. Yikes.

but it will never be like the original Dior, it's like Balenciaga, Cristobal would never design clothes like Ghesquiere

Ditch at least 70% of the suits and suitlike pieces and then it's a bold statement. Now, it's predictable with a dash of surprising techno fabrics and some very nice draped items. Eventhough it's not dominated by suits, it still is what sticks to me most.

And the styling and music was so cold. I missed soul in that.

I simply don't get why people complain about raf simons not being 'dior' enough - same thing after couture already. i mean, just take a look at the new look collection. simons' collections for dior so far are a stunningly modern take on the classic dior (look at the last three gowns!), and i love him for this.

Simple, elegant, modern. I just love the A-line section.

I can't co-sign on this, Raf's career is basically dead to me now.

His approach to design doesn't seem as organic as it once was. When the best looks of the collection bring to mind YSL and not Christian Dior, there's a clear and obvious problem.

This is very predictable. He needs to move on and be more innovative. This collection was just like his Dior couture show. Those last gowns look exactly like the ones in couture only with different skirts. Maybe he ran out of idea so he ripped the skirt off from last couture gowns and change it with new skirts.

how anyone can call this boring I don't know. it's absolutly beautiful and incredibly well done, and very Dior. especially the last few dresses are really amazing and simply divine. I'd go to heaven wearing one of these

This is shockingly disappointing, i love him, and i never expected him to do Galliano redux! And after the couture collection, i thought he might blend perfectly for Dior, but this is just soo.......insipid? I feel like i am looking at a NYFW collection! Raf does Oscar!!

Of course i love some pieces, it all has impeccable tailoring, but it doesnt convince me that this should be the new look for Dior, at all.
