I've never noticed Christophe Lemaire's work before but I find this collection to be utterly captivating right from the first image. then particularly at about look 14, the clothes becomes so focused and clearly defined....i just think it's hopelessly beautiful. look 19 almost took my breath away! i absolutely love the shoes as well.
i also love the way it has been presented & photographed. the ambience is so calm but it still has energy....it's really lovely.

Stunning collection. Easy, approachable and very, very chic. I love what he is doing at Hermes and I adore his main line work. I own a lot of his mens clothing and I always feel so calm and great it in. This may sound weird, but I think he could do wonders @ Chanel when KL leaves...
It's gorgeous indeed! I tend to forget about him. Is this still being styled by Drira? cause it does look like his work but thankfully, much more subtle and individual. I love the presentation too.. it feels nice looking at something relaxed after all the ostentation this week.

Agreed! And, well stated.
This is a gorgeous understated collection. I love the way they styled the actual outfits as well, those leather belts are gorgeous, and the shoes/earrings/a simple purse, fit the collection perfectly too and feel very believable.
I agree, this is really really lovely!
It's nothing new - but there really is some sort of incredible ease about it which is a bit unusual. It's like I'm listening to a Múm album.
Thanks for the thread Adore
