his previous collection was solid, but as for this it just seems ugly and not in a compelling way. sad since he was on a good roll.

cool! I really like both looks on daiane! (post 1, 2)

some of it is a little marni to me, and isn't reminiscent of his past work but i like it so far.

Wonderful
The clothes look so much better in the video, when you see the way they move. I especially love the sequined trousers swing as the girls walk!

haha maybe thats why I like it? I'm really really glad to see him (and his sister) progressing and doing something new and interesting. I actually don't think it's THAT far off what he did last winter in terms of colors. I think part of the problem is that it's difficult to evolve from what he did last winter when what he did became so instantly trendy (ie skater skirt styles) because if he did do that, again, it would be tired. Some of the structure is great. I'm not a fan of all the stuff constructed out of pailettes but i'm glad to see them doing something a little more toned down and less obvious. Some of the shapes are quite interesting as well.

Feels very Chalayan to me...
Particularly the dresses - the green one esp...
Probably why I love those dresses... in theory at least

The first two dresses in post#1 and the first dress in post#2 are cool...
Could've been much better if he had eliminated unnecessary extras..
Arresting details nonetheless...

For me, his designs always have this feeling of being overwrought. There's always stuff on it, and it's always done heavy-handedly which lends itself easily to tackiness.

That said, it isn't as tacky and ridiculous as usual, which is nice to see. But I must raise the question "Pants covered in paillettes; Chic or Dangerous?"

Those are just extremely disco Barbie.
