Wow, this is extremely different and that I commend it for.
I am going to have to agree with everyone on the Gorilla print, I LOVE them!
Those two that use the gorilla are the most successful to me.
Everything else.....I can't say that I hate them but I certainly don't like them.....or do I?

I quite like it...some really great pieces in there, and the gorilla t-shirt is fab.

I too love the gorilla print used. I'm so dissapointed. There are very few London designers I get excited about and usually Christopher Kane is one of them. Unfortunately...he gave me blue balls this season I love how he puts together colors and textures that would normally be hideous and edits them into something fantastically modern. It's such a shame he couldn't do that this season

I mean maribou?! come on.

Not a fan, not at all.

The gorilla print reminds me of the horse printed tops Margiela did last spring, a total trendy cult object that's gonna be everywhere and truly isn't all that creative.

He still has yet to prove his talent to me. From the first collection he showed I've questioned his taste and his ability to edit. His garments, with this collection especially, don't have any self control. They're too much with one too many things going on, but not in that whimsical Lacroix sort of way. To me, this stuff looks very studenty, very "dying to be cutting edge and interesting" but I don't think it works. It just looks overwhelming.

the pieces which aren't so bad, remind me of Lie Sang Bong rip offs or something :/

This really is horrendous. I hate all of those circle cuts. The gorilla print is pretty cool and the all-black maribou dress works for me, but everything else is pretty disgusting. In seasons past, he was able to make an image of a very cool, left of center woman/girl. Not this time it seems.

Wow man what can I say...this is not my favourite. Where did that gorilla come from? I don't see it having anything to do with the collection and vice versa. The circles can add a nice touch in some looks but that number on Sessilee is just too much. I am very torn on this one...

WIERD! The gorilla-shirts are great but i don't understand how theyre relevant to the rest of the collection. Some of the black looks are kind of nice but i can't wrap my head around this as a whole.

yea, reminds me of lie sang bong but it seems like there are several other designer doing this technic as well.
however, i have to say i like this collection as a whole. there are some that are rather bad but a lot of the dresses were nice and i would wear them. this collection is better than his last two for sure. i find that he tends to go ott but at least this kind of ott isnt so tacky for me. i quite like the shoes as well. the fur trim pieces are dreadful. i was a little confused with the gorilla print, i still have mix feelings but it does look fierce.

I agree with everything. Especially the gorilla print, it's so random as well (eventhough I would love to have it, just like the Margiela shirt..ahem.)

memorable indeed.
very hard to like at first sight... i dont like this!
i guess this shows he's most debutante side... he is experimenting. in a way i like that he is daring to do something different than his previous seasons and he is not following the likes of rodarte (whose collection was a bit too similar to his previous one, even if the closer looks to it reveal a few new interesting things).
it somehow scares me that a bad review from this might discourage him to keep trying different things... with time we'll see...
