The hairstyles are reminiscent of Galliano Spring/Summer 2009.

STUNNING. At first, I was skeptical, but once I got through the first few outfits and my eye adjusted, I really appreciate this collection. The proportions are perfect and the jackets are especially beautiful.

Can't wait to see detail shots!

I'm very impressed.

hah, I also thought about the lightyears of distance between the collages shown here and those shown in NYC.
This is hypnotizing. So meticulous and special to the tiniest piece.. the HQs are going to be mouth-watering.

thanks for sharing, Inaya!!!

I haven't read any reviews about this collection, yet...but from my first introspection....there seems to be something very "mixed-media" about this collection. The hair sorta reminds me of a Toulouse Loutrec painting....very Parisienne, and there seems to be a very old-world look about it?? Granted, the clothes do not match the time period.

Some of the pieces also remind me of a very early Martin Margiela collection...especially some of the patchwork tops. There is a glimpse of a hanging shoulder strap sitting upon one of the model's hips....and it immediately brought a bit of Margiela to my thought process. Even the first pic, with the model wearing the long patchwork skirt in a mixed-media frenzy, reminds me of MM.

As far as the tight spandex bicycle shorts...it seems like her influence with the Speedo collaboration has melded into this collection.

Thus far...I do love this collection. I'm always anxious to see what she will present, so I sit for hours imagining what it will possibly look like...and, as usual....it's never what I had expected or anticipated. it takes a while for me to obsorb every collection before I form an opinion.

I really like how she did patchwork. The mix of shapes and prints are wonderful.

Maybe I'm completely wrong, but I think they look like ancient warriors.

Overall I like this. It starts off kind of weak and jumbled but I like the later pieces quite a bit. But from a fashion student's perspective, I don't really understand garments such as this: http://i191.photobucket.com/albums/z...ris/CdG/19.jpg

Given the CdG resourcefulness and assuming that their sample sewers are really good at their job, I'm trying to figure out if those puckers are on purpose or not... They look pretty bad but maybe I'm wrong?
