 completely OT--yday I had a customer who's aunt was visiting from Hawaii by way of Japan who used to be a designer and was friends with Rei (what she did was more along couture for the wealthy)........so now I'm 2 degrees separated from Rei..........  I'll have samples in the mail box any day now..................... |

^^ I heard they used to do that at the end of every season (in a kind of CdG tradition) but stopped after they figured out they could just dump everything onto the Guerilla Stores.
I do not have that on good authority, however... |

so whats CDG Noir? Nqth do you know? or runner - have you seen this in Japan?
apparetly there is some sort of collaboration with aquascutum in the pipeline. That would be good. Thanks for this droogist. I am surprised that there are so few shops in japan - I thought there were more. |

...yes...i guess i saw the entire 'UNIVERSE'... i was checking out the velvet bags... *they are all sold out except for one, but it was too big...  the menswear is delicious... some nice skirts (ivory or blk) and ivory wool crochet sweaters from the womens mainline... *not much in yet though-no dresses cdgcdg and tricot-*boring*...  junya-eh...too street and punk for my taste... noir-so fun and VERY 60's..absolutely...*mary quant* comes to mind... *not so easy to wear though... c'est tout!!... |
