this is what is in the stores, i had a look last week.
It actually feels better in the stores because one see's that the clothes are much lighter than they apear, and the edges of the fabric have been used , wich we can't see in those pics. By the edges i mean the tape on the edge with the type of fabric and the name of the company that weaved the fabric woven into it .

Wow! i really loved Comme Des Garcons ss 2006! i loved the feel, the really royal feel mixed with punky tartans! it was amazing!

I don't think so - it was more like a wrapping effect, but I don't remember a hole.

The backs all looked wrapped. All the pieces are draped and it looks like it is then sewn over to keep the effect. Reminds me of the stuff I've seen from Yohji.

It's definitely a very beautiful collection and very wearable too. I could never have imagined it looking at how it's put out on the runway.

^That is beautiful. I mean Rei presented it far too literally on the runway and that did it no favours. However CDG always always has beautiful pieces season after season and sometimes you have to put faith in a house, beyond a collection. Sill, Rei isn't what she once was.

I think it was kind of no cutting, just drap and sew the material into the "shape":-)

CdG never fails to appeal to me. I love the crowns and the theme of this collection.
