Call me biased or whatever, but those aren't THAT similar.

Besides, it's not like Balenciaga was the first to do bleach spotted black jeans.....I could swear I've seen something like that before.

Overall it's not bad. D&G will always be the kitchy club-kid younger brother/boy toy of the Dolce man, and that's fine by me.

Can I hide myself after I say that D&G does the paint splatters better. (And I love Balenciaga, so that hurt me to say that.)

Perhaps indeed, but that's really the first thing that came to my mind.

Of course, the bonnes manières forbid to say what I think of a teddy-bear logoed tank top (quite pervert in fact ) and of a model wearing briefs and a hooded leather jacket .

Hm, I'm not a fan of sneaker tongues showing up.

Lately I'm a little fan of D&G. Their current F/W collection is really sexy, not too macho, maybe the glasses from the runway made me believe that it even looks a little smart. Their S/S collection is nothing to sneeze at either. Sure, there's not the kind of innovation that the purists from this forum are craving for, but when a company can do babysteps in innovation and keep on being wearable, I feel like they did a good job.

Fashion is art, yes, but it's also something one has to wear in the end. If it's not wearable, there's no reason to covet something.

Well, this and I want that black leatherjacket with the hoodie.....
