^ For Women's fashion weeks, it lasts about 4 weeks starting in New York, then London, then Milan, and finally ending in Paris. That happens twice a year, for spring and fall, so for RTW shows alone it's 8 weeks I believe (someone correct me if I'm wrong
 )Then you have couture fashion week, which happens twice a year (?) one for spring and one for fall and as well as Pre-Fall and Resort fashion weeks, but I'm not sure if they are included in the count. So basically you have about 8 RTW fashion weeks/year and 2 couture weeks. You can add in the men's fashion week which is a little under 2 weeks and that happens twice a year as well
