The biggest mistakes I hear are Spanish names pronounced as Spanish from South America. That would be "Balensiaga"when in Spain it would be "Balen-thi-aga" With the "thi" as in "thi-ng".
As for Loewe I think itīs
Lo....like "lo-ve"
E ...like "evil"
We...like "be-ll"

don't do "ahm" like a bunch of people do I've had an SA pronounce it "ohm-uh" and "ho-may" before, too

so... i was reading thru and i always thought u spelt dior just how it was spelt ... what is is D - eye - o(soft r) or some thing

and givenchy is shee - von - ce
or Givenchy = Jhee-Von-Shee

I'm confused...I thought "Ohm" would be "owm" as in "home"...?

Anyhow, it's like "um"...it's a very short vowel, with a glottal. Almost rhymes with "come" (except a bit brighter, slightly more open.)
