I pronounce Sui like 'swee' and I'm pretty sure that is the correct pronounciation.

Siwy i pronounce like 'soo wee' which may or may not be incorrect.

I tend to pronounce theyskens 'tay-skens' but with a french accent on the last bit....

TFS needs its own designer name pronunciation key. There's 21 pages of the same questions over and over.

edit: Make that 22.

Icon7 Pronunciations

I speak fluent French, Portuguese, Spanish and some Italian so I'll try and help everyone out (don't worry about trying too hard, the french will understand you)

Hermes: heir-mess

Givenchy: jee-von-shee
(the 'j' is smooth, not a hard consonant sound)

Louis Vuitton: lou-we vwee-ton
(the 'ton' if pronounced like 'tong' without the g)

Chanel: sha-nell

Celine: se-leen

Dior: deeor
(from Italian, "of gold", Dior is pronounced as one syllable, not as two as in English)

Emilio Pucci: eh-mee-lee-O pooh-chee

Balenciaga: bal-len-see-aga

I think that about covers it

I've always just said CCP as Carol Christian Po-elle...i think it's a pretty straightforward name, although I'd like to make sure on the Poell too.

Also a quick note: I've always liked the way my dad says "Raf Simons," he pronounces it (in his hong kong accented English) "Rahf Seee-mons."

As for the 'Sui' in Anna Sui...probably the closest thing as far as English pronounciations go would be "sway", although it's a bit more subtle...it's like sooee but said with a quicker, monosyllabic like delivery instead of a drawn out sooo-eee.
