I thought Lanvin was pronounced Lon-Va?? Unless,I don't listen clearly.

its always a matter of phonetics and pronunciation scott,
that was while in Belgium i guess ?
i pronouce it Lan-vèn myself , the n in the end is
almost a 'silent' one , but its there to be pronounced

I always say Lanvin as it's written, with in pronounced like "in the mailbox".

is the A in Lanvin like in Man or Lawn

I usually pronounce it Lawn-vingt (like how twenty would be pronounced in french) but I dont know if its right

my french friends pronounce it with an A as in man
in general, i think pronounciation is a bit hard to describe in writing

I've heard the A pronounced both ways, I've also heard the I pronounced as an I and as an A........I guess it's almost like a preference, there isn't necessarily a wrong way to say it, just a different way to say it.

Well actually the eu in Demeulemeester is not pronounced like me or mu.....it's a combination of letters that is only used that way in the Dutch language and it is very very hard to explain...
