That's exactly what I though, a lot of these pieces just seems like desperate attempts to bait the dior homme hype fans back to the brand. This collection really doesn't have any narrative either, it's just, clothes.

The only nice thing are those sunglasses but still... this just seems his own collection with tighter pants with bling-blings craved. Besides looking winter-ish, what's with the tektonic spirit? Where's the Dior Glamour?

i wish he just kept repeating the first collection he did for dior homme... i hated it back then, but it would just be much safer from him. after the big noise hedi did, that first quiet collection was just perfect!

who could be next after KVA?

EDIT: i NEEDED to mention how ugly and un-dior-homme this runway is... first an in house presentation, then the dark big catwalk for fall-winter, and now this...
my fashion memory doesnt go that far but, does anyone remember if facchinetti at gucci was something like this at all?

Do you mean was she completely inconsistent or did she stick too closely to what Tom Ford had done before her?

Her two collections were consistent enough, they continued in the Gucci vein and unfortunately she was canned like a month after her second collection which was where she tried to introduce some new things to Gucci.

Her weakness was that she stuck too closely to what TF did and unfortunately she didn't have his same instincts, so it didn't really work.

well, it's doesn't feel right, but i do like the details on the jacket etc. I agree with Andymoon, lets give him more time and more chances and we'll see.

this is just such a mess. i like some details but i cant like this... hedi was strong in concept but i cant help but this has no concept, its just too much with a little of this here and there, imho, so this is a big NO for me + when they get karl to get the campaign shot...

so far i think i liked KVA's premier collection @ DH the best ... it was well presented and somewhat united

So what is this? Almost horrible.
He makes Dior Homme look cheap. I see futurism? I see Balenciaga heavly-modified pants and Calvin Klein glasses?
