It is my only assumption that Dior is trying to target a much much younger audience. But seriously those clothes look like something from Wet Seal or Mish Mash or Old Navy.
I think Dior has seen what Roxy and other popular, growing names have done with female surfwear, and figured they could carve some kind of a niche. I think it's awkward. I'm a huge Roxy fan and my fiance is a surfer. Wait till I tell him. He'll be confused for sure.
Dior is not about surfing, what happened to the amazing dresses that wowed us year after year...now we have huge ugly coats, ugly platform sneakers in leopard print, & dior surf !

uh... wow.... thats uh...... my mind on dior as being this really cool luxe label is quickly changing to "hmm...maybe i'll go to zumiez and pick up some dior!"

mmm...i mean i hope this doens't make it to australia...even the chanel surf stuff was better a few seasons back...and the surfboard was classy for surfer wannabes...
i mean, billabong and roxy are allt the go, i don't think dior will be able to make it into that market, way to upper class trashy...and any surfer would get honed on for using a dior surfboard.
