^I second that, Dolce & Gabbana need to get out of Sicily! Don't know if they know there are more places in the world to take inspiration. Please go back of what you did in 2006-07!!!

for me it all looks like : Scarlett-O-Hara is gone with the wind to visit the the Sicilian relatives for her summer holiday

^Please do not make this comparison, Scarlet was chic, Dolce & Gabbana HC is cheap and tacky.

Just managed to catch up with this, and all I can say is 'why even bother'?

I don't understand all the hate at all. It looks incredibly beautiful to my eyes. Those big gowns at the end are to die for. I came into this thread thinking that it would be tacky but it doesn't look like it at all. I also don't mind this Sicilian aesthetic. I think they've executed it more beautifully here than they ever have in the past. Face it, this is an aesthetic they like and one that they have chosen for the brand until they maybe pick up inspiration elsewhere. To me, there are many differences from previous RTW collections, but there are also similarities because brands have aesthetics.

2 dresses and I'm already overwhelmed. This collection will be impossible to digest.

My thoughts exactly.

Oh, and I'm already waiting for Anna Dello Russo to show up on the street in one of the gowns in #82. Just give her few weeks.
