the color palette is FANTASTIC here

though it looks like a more typically fall color scheme i think it works well here

I agree, as much I'm tired of seeing bodycon dresses this season these are really well done, but it was the loose fitted dresses and skirts that were just odd.

donna karan abandoned her core customer years ago...
i don't know who she is designing for anymore...

she used to be the go-to for professional women...
but most of these are party and date dresses...
...

as a woman...i feel sort of betrayed by donna...

best thing i can say is it looks like it will do well in texas...

It's beautiful, but it lacks Donna's genius draping. Draping is what I look for the most in a Donna Karan collection because she's so experienced with it. This is beautiful but it's kinda inconsistent with what she usually does. Still, it's nice to see her do something different. Heck, if I had to pick anyone to do tribal chic from New York I'd pick Donna

A bold collection, coming from Donna. It's not what you usually expect from her, and even though she moved away from her comfort zone, there were some remarkable pieces done here.

I think itīs a very nice collection. Very wearable.
The color palette is very natural and the color mix and prints are good.

I really like the African inspiration and the tribal elements. They are not too overwhelming and the collection still looks modern, feminine and wearable as it should since this is Donna Karan. Plus the swishy ponytails were too die for.
