Very solid. Typical Dries to say the least. I can do without the knitwear/eyelet pieces, but the rest all works for me. That first pair of wide-leg trousers..in plaid (!)..from post #2 are definitely calling my name. The finale, featuring the models in the coats, was quite easy on the eyes, and was one of the more memorable finales I can think of. As usual, his clothes look exponentially better in motion than it does on whatever device you're looking at this with.

That being said, if he translated this collection into a womenswear collection, I can absolutely see it being very successful.

Thanks for creating the recent threads, dodencebt. I was almost convinced we all just gave up on the menswear collections.

Agreed. Thanks for making the thread! I saw the 118 photo count on vogue and 'noped' out of there so fast.

Better than last menswear but I still feel like Dries is running on auto-pilot right now. Then again, he doesn't really have much to prove.

Agreed, thanks for creating all the threads!

Mh, Dries is usually one of my favorite designers, but I don't really know what to do with this. It's not bad, but I don't see anything particularly exciting here.
I can see the finale coats on hipstery fashionistos from Berlin, and that's not a compliment.

It literally looks like stuffy-attic upholstery to shower curtains-as-coat that Elton John and his husband would wear.

No thank you.

This is too tepid for me, it gives me nothing. Maybe is matter of taste, but I would change this for Gucci, Balenciaga or Dsquared2 any day.

I like the more youthful coats at the end but the rest feels like it could be titled "50 shades of ochre". The styling is too unimaginative colorwise.
