i think there are some really pretty (or if not pretty at least good) prints in this collection..

let's hope the house finds its footing with the new designer because it at least seems like she's moving in a positive direction.

Pretty but boring. Feels like the collection is done solely for the purpose of the capital balance!

It's funny how I never know who the creative director at Ungaro is.
This is quite nice, though.

Nice prints, some pretty dresses. Not bad overall.

I agree with you, I thought gile's first collection was too rooted in the past. The second effort was just top severe. I feel like this is a cleanser collection for the house. I hope she gets more chances to prove herself

I think to finally get Ungaro back on top they need to get a designer who knows what he's doing, how to play with the DNA, and knows his aesthetic. Because this house used to be the creme de la creme. And it's bad now because it's going down financially. The Lindsay Hoehan collection was supposed to bring publicity, but it just made them a joke. They need that one lucky person who can bring them back to what Ungaro used to be. But I guess to turn back to the house's golden years it's going to take a while. Dior after Dior died was just a mess. But then Galliano came and turned it into probably the most famous house in history, aside Chanel. This collection is lovely, yes, but this lady is not the one who turns this company around.
