I think Dundas isnt quite as literal as lets say, Lacroix or Williamson but I think he pays a good homage to the house.
it's too true and it's to dundas' credit that he hasn't taken the pucci legacy too literally. all of the geniuses that helm the major european houses have managed to eke out a MODERN vision for those very old, dusty, and storied houses. if one wants OLD pucci, one should buy vintage pieces. there's nothing wrong with that. but it's dundas job to craft the pucci of the future and he has done that spectacularly as we see with this collection.

I'm not in love with Pucci accesories, thats his blind side, i think they have to create a iconic bag, do something else with the shoes (always the same) and a parfume with a famous, Pucci now can have the option to be more important and popular!

this is really good. this is a turning point for pucci. dundas' work was starting to feel the symptoms of balmain syndrome (like someone said before) and this proved that he's an excellent designer who managed to get some hype with the 70s/boho/hippie/sexual stuff and is now starting to show more consistent and relevant stuff. i just hope he keeps it up in the seasons to come.
