This collection has Roberto Cavalli SS05 written all over it
And the embellished minidresses were SO Balmain
It was a good collection nonetheless, even if I was expecting something more daring and luxurious from Dundas...it's definitely my least favorite collection from the ones he did for Pucci

I liked it, granted some pieces were just silly, but overall it was fine. Its also about how the outfit is carried by the person wearing it, and quite frankly many of the outfits were just wasted out there.

Some of these pieces looked great on the show (probably because they're so light, printed and the models were zooming through) but on pics, it looks dull.

There were some great pieces but overall, pretty lackluster.

The close ups for some of the fabric should be amazing!!

Also the hair and make up are AWESOME! Every girl looks amazing!

While I do like it--emphasis on like--I can't help feeling that Dundas is a one trick pony. I feel like he is going to run out of "look" the same way Decarnin did @ Balmain...fun for a few seasons and then whats the point?

What is happening in Milan?! By and large there seems to be a virgin/whore split in the collections: everything from slutty mermaids (there's the dichotomy right there!), to tacky 80s bitch dressing, to even tackier gypsies, to even-tackier-than-that Hawiian grass skirts and lei-style florals, all the way through to "sweet" sickly car nostalgia, and scary Stepford wife clones & ice-cold frigid fashions. *heavy sigh.* I am disappointed.

NYC and London had their downsides, too, of course, but they were far far stronger collections, fashions, directions, depictions of women, overall, than Milan has been thus far. I guess I am putting my cards on Paris at this point, hoping that the best will be last!! (Or maybe Mui Mui will surprise. Here's hoping...)

P.s. More directly, there are a few nice looks here, some great play on texture, but in general, meh.

As the show went along, it progressed and I didn't think it was as bad as the first three outfits. The Latin American influence was captured nicely, there are a lot of Armani references used to the line's advantage. A solid collection in total.
Emina Cunmulaj could have been perfect for this show.

OMG, I almost gagged when I saw this. The most horrendous collection I've seen this season so far.

I usually enjoy Emilio Pucci collections, but this season's left me very disappointed. The opening looks are so ugly! There is too much going on here- various prints, jewelry, length, themes... It looks like a one big mess. I like two or three dresses though- but that's all.

Some of the skirts alone are nice, but the styling couldn't been anymore over the top and tacky.

I'm also not very fond of the idea of dresses making its way onto the red carpet BEFORE it's even been shown on the runway. Turns me off.
