UGH....I DIE!! !! After last season's awkward collection, this is completely breath-taking...though a lot of Ann D.-Haider Ackerman inspiration which they have taken to a higher level of sophistication. It shows their mastery of the cut and drape, of colours, textures, materials.
Those layered pieces with the scarves and fringe are too delicious....especially the last two looks in #7 and the first in #8. And is that a paisley print? That's the first time paisely has ever seemed remotely palatable to me ....

^ Agree about the layered, scarf looks, so very pretty. I actually liked the russet colour, even if it does seem like more of a fall colour. There are some great pieces in this collection. Very innovative. The deconstructed military-band-leader looks are fun.
I love it. Great color palette, very cohesive, amazing styling. I just love that very feminine but strong look that only Belgian designers seem to master so amazingly well.
And I think this is the first time ever that I think the headpieces actually enhance the collection. I normally hate everything they put on models' heads in fashion shows It looks cool here because the headpieces are interesting but not ridiculous.
they are always so true to their styles. they've taken their love of fatigues to a magical level this season.
i dunno if i agree so much though with the demeulemeester and ackermann references though.....an and fillip have actually had their own sort of brand of heavy draping skills when they started their collection way back in the late 90's....so it's actually been part of their repertoire.
