Dadaism, Post-Impressionism, Surrealism and Pop art.
I don't like this but I think is nice to see everything! There is no good without the bad. I think isn't good copying the art work into a dress like many designers do it, where is the creativity?, that is just another Pastiche. I like interpretation of the art movement for example: Hi-Tech in Chalayan or abstract expressionism in McQueen.

Pointillism
"Pointillism is a technique of painting in which small, distinct dots of pure color are applied in patterns to form an image. Georges Seurat and Paul Signac developed the technique in 1886, branching from Impressionism. The term Pointillism was first coined by art critics in the late 1880s to ridicule the works of these artists, and is now used without its earlier mocking connotation. Neo-impressionism and Divisionism are also terms used to describe this technique of painting." - wikipedia

Louis Vuitton x Yayoi Kusama - The Looks

puntoyrayafestival.com

Kusama is a precursor of the pop art, minimalist and feminist art movements. She's one of the most important living artists to come out of Japan, and an important voice of the avant-garde. Kusama came to public attention after she organised a series of Body Festivals in which naked participants were painted with brightly colored polka dots.

M.C. Escher (Mathematical Art, Op Art, Surrealism)
Quote:
Dutch artist Maurits Cornelis Escher explored the notions of symmetry and infinity and depicted visual paradoxes and impossible worlds through his art. He worked extensively on regular divisions of the plane, also called tessellations, which are arrangements of closed, interlocking planar shapes which cover the whole plane without any gaps. Escher distorted basic planar figures such as triangles, squares and other polygons into organic forms to construct his tessellations. Even though he was not mathematically-trained, Escher displayed a keen intuition and creativity which appeals to mathematicians and non-mathematicians alike.
