Ok, yes, very vetements. But at least there are not panties or tights as the kanye's collection. There are cool pieces. I liked.

Is it wrong that I drag Kanye's Yeezy collection but applaud Rihanna's efforts for Puma? Because, I kind of love it.

cathy tells it like it is...of course

Rihanna has developed a very free and distinctive personal look in the last few years, but this collection pursued a mass style — very slick but derivative and lacking in magic — that’s easy to read on a cell phone. Kanye’s clothes might be murky and muddy, but you do feel that they connect to his personality. Rihanna’s clothes felt like they came off an assembly line of designers.

It's not going to change fashion but in terms of celebrity designed collections I think it's actually really fresh.

Yes it's a little Vetements mixed with Hood by Air but there is an ease and a coolness both those brands don't have imo.

I disagree with Cathy, i can see Rihanna in ALL the clothes. It's very similar to her style and where she is at right now. I can tell it's a personable collection.

Kanye is just running with the same idea he thinks is cool.

does anyone know if the show was styled by her own stylist (mel) and if he had anything to do with putting the line together...

^ I would imagine so, since people are claiming to see a lot of her "style" in this. I know via Instagram that Lynn Ban was heavily involved with the jewelry and, I would venture a guess, the styling of said jewelry.

It was styled by Tom Van Dorpe.

I agree with Cathy-- to an extend.

As basic as Kanye’s seem to be, there’s a severity and austerity to it that’s not mass-friendly. This… is is very mass-friendly— very juvenile mediocrity that’s more of Zoolander-caricature of what high fashion is to the GP. I can see a high school fashion show doing this kind of ‘90s-retro athleticwear-meets-ANTM trope.

And I do see Rihanna in all of this; I mean, she’s really just a basic bitch when it comes to style, so this is very her, as manufactured as it may be. It’s her attitude that gives her an edge.
