These clothes are so beautiful, it may not be anything nothing new or exciting, but this doesnt make the collection any less stunning!

its gorgeous! i loathe the 50s full skirts with the nasty table cloth prints. I adore all the more awkard shapes - though i must say why is the majority of this collection white - its too much like bridal couture - where are all the gorgeous colours like he used to do? i really do not enjoy how 'old lady' the overal mood has become!!

I love everything, except for the stupid finale dresses. They have been done too many times.

Now...show me the shoes!

Thanks for the heads up, wow i had no idea, i thought Alessandra was being praised for her work at Valentino (and i think so faar she has done a decent job and seems to be getting better), i guess you truly never know in fashion.

I don't know why there's so much acclaim over the pouf gowns. They're exact replicas of Dior's.

For the first time, I can see how G. Valli might work for Valentino, although I strongly prefer Alessandra.

As Valli's No1 [obsessive, stalker, i'm-gonna-hobble-you] fan, and after looking at this collection a second time I can finally give a clear opinion.

Valli's (and no doubt a lot of other designers') strengths come in winter time when he can use his talent to cover the body from the cold with whatever the hell he likes, I think he knows this well, and shows this with a part-continuation of his winter collection.
On first seeing his winter collection I was literally frightened by the clothes he had sent down the runway, and I just loved it. Loved it so dreadfully.
Valli has toned down winter to cope with the heat (U.K. not included) of summer. The shapes are still completely original and fantastic, and looking at this collection over and over, as I undoubtedly shall be doing, I will just love it all the more.

Admittedly, I detest two of the final dresses - they don't echo the sheer drama of Valli, though I love the others.

I cannot wait to see the details of this collection.

Wonderful to see Ms Roslyakova is still participating in Valli's collections (she's been in every one).

It didn't move me at all, I'm officially fed up with his collections. Irina looks like a grotesque Christmas Tree

Oh this is too much!
It's actually reminding of this piece made by Hussein Clalayan F/W 00.

There's also a white one but I didn't find it.
