Very pretty indeed.
The 3rd dress in post #6 reminds me of Moschino :P
And rest of it is so Valentino!
Like it anyway, very romantic.

I love a lot of Valli's work but this is not his best. It feels like someone mashed Marchesa, McQueen and de la Renta together with a wee splash of Balenciaga.

Kind of funny, now anyway, that half of the comments say that his collection reminds them of Valentino...what about his own identity? (I'm not saying he doesn't have one, but if he is indeed going to Valentino, will he shutter his own line?) And if he isn't going anywhere, he will have a tough time moving beyond the pigeonhole he has found himself in

That said, plenty of pretty dresses....the gowns are quite beaut!

There's some that I love, those usual heavily textured pieces.

But the dress with bows are just too girlish. Giambattista's about feminine, but not girlish.

And the shoes are much more boring than other seasons.

LostInNJ, if Valli does Valentino he wont be allowed to continue his own line. I think I read that that was part of the deal but might be mistaken.

I quite like some of this but those big gowns look REALLY unflattering.
