The man never thinks of anything new anymore, all the original/inspired/new/whatever-you-want-to-call-it pieces are over the top gaudy, as if he threw too many things on it in the hope people won't notice it's some piece he has killed to death many times before.
I understand how people can like this... some pieces are pretty. But that's all that can be said for them.

how very lovely!! he took out the hats, he did some more colour, he explored the volumes a bit, new shapes, new stuff! very rare for armani!!
i love this! i think last season was really the break-through for his couture it was the first that he really started to separate his prive collection from his armani Collezioni and this is jsut the evolution of that. A lot more mature. It's so good to see an established designer pushing thing forward at his age!
