I actually like the panther skirt for some reason, but the rest of the collection does nothing for me.

I liked the last third of the show, with all those folksy prints; they looked good in lime, purple and black, an echo of the setting. I also like the cat-eye glasses. Lots of basic black pieces here, but not a fan of the jaguar looks. Very effective setting for the show, too, but it did seem more spring-like to me for some reason.

Yeah, this isn't dark or gothic at all. If we were to see these outfits with a white backdrop no one would even consider this to be gothic, I think.

I have mixed feelings about this. I love cats so I'm biased. Then again I really hate big prints and those bomber blouse jackets. The shoes are STUNNING and some of the dresses (look30 onwards on nowfashion, especially the one on Saskia de Brauw) are amazing. But a lot of it is quite awkward and ugly.

I hated the menswear collection and this is similar to that. Obviously I hate this, then.
The prints seem as an attempt to challenge the viewer with ugliness that you are supposed to like later, but I just cannot get into it. It did get slightly better closer to the end, but it's not that nice, unfortunately. Sorry Tisci.

I am left very confused with how much the separation between HC and PAP at Givenchy really is. Tisci can design some of the most beautiful haute couture collections ever, but then you see some of his PAP collections and wonder what happened.

Thanks for all the pics, AgrenateD.

Jeez, Riccardo keeps navigating far from the mysticism of his earlier collections.. and closer to the Anna Dello Russo shore. Too many prints I'm tempted to call dumb.
I hope this doesn't end bad for him.
