What the actual **** is this? How can he go from such an incredible spring collection, to another incredible haute couture collection, and then produce horrendous menswear and womenswear collections?
Is he trying to be a smooth trend-setter instead of continuing to provide his Givenchy customer with a new wardrobe? Take a leaf out of Demeulemeester's book.. Is he actually joking with this junk?

I'm going for a Gianni Versace meets Christopher Kane with a sprinkle of Jean Charles de Castelbajac actually.
I love it. It's a bit more humour-filled than his usual collections. The see through panther prints are absolutely sexy and mysterious at the same time.
But NOT a fan of the print on Mariacarla's dress, it looks outdated and too showy.

I find the all-black looks super stunning and chic.
The prints are questionable though, especially the not so subtle ones with a random panther placed haphazardly. It's a little gimmicky.
Still the more subdued looks (like on Hilary or Candice) are solid.
same here. i sometimes feel like that with prada. upon first look im like 'what are those prints' but then i end up loving it. this doesnt look like something i can grow to love cause like you've stated, i already hated the menswear prints and all and i've never changed my mind. this is horrible. some of the skirts look even cheap.
and LOL the glasses, is this a big joke on us, riccardo?
So true, Prada has ugly prints that are somehow not that ugly when looked at hard. But this is just not working for me in any way. The skirts do look a little cheap. I'm just very confused by this collection.

Instantly thought of Gianni Versace in those prints. It's very that.
for my taste is tacky..not likening animal prints especially in colors, i was never fan of this in the 90s, but it is fun. wouldn't call this ready to wear...but its not HC....
Not that I am a fashion pro, but I don't think this does not come up to the corporate image of Givenchy.
Seeing this collection Givenchy seems to more and more evolve into one of those super trendy streetwear houses.... There is no neo-gothic chic left.... neither I see "magic" here... This is a nice streetwear collection and it lacks timelessness - In 4 years you will look at this collection and think "OMG, they used to wear such crap in 2011"?
