It's beautiful, but indeed very very Lanvin and a bit Gucci..and the duality aint helping the collection either.

So austere and clean. And so so so elegant. i LOVE this. especially certain looks. There some very hideous things here and there though, like these two outfits (http://s17.postimage.org/rh8w1vksv/2..._kuho_2274.jpg + http://s17.postimage.org/50bxck3rj/2..._kuho_2279.jpg) that make wonder where riccardo's sense of proportions went. i could do without some of the ruffles, but overall it's very very good.

I don't like the couple of ruffle pieces, but so far I really enjoy everything else. It's been a while since we've had a clean Givenchy collection. I think Tisci really excels at this clean, simple iteration of his aesthetic. It still has that gothic romantic style, but also has a freshness.

I can't wait to see the whole collection!

I loved those looks mistress_f

Designers are really crunk about some minimalism this season. Here, it actually truly works for me because the construction is to die for and the details are equally perfect. I think it's very much Givenchy's original aesthetic (no need for designer comparisons), just very streamlined. Gorgeous offering.

I love his minimal use of color in this collection, obviously he doesn't need much more to make a statement

Well, that was uneventful.
Overall beautiful and cohesive collection but I also see bad pants, unnecessary ruffles, possibly unflattering shapes on anyone with a shapely body and some references [Lanvin and Gucci much] which Tisci didn't handle all that well mixed with older elements. Also, let's not the throw the word "minimalism" around so easily.

I'm used that Givenchy doesn't remind any other designer but this collection reminds me of Lanvin , it's a good collection but nothing new

I love it! Very minimal but powerful and elegant at the same time. I am very much on board with this direction of his. After that mess last season, I am glad Riccardo has redeemed himself; at least in my eyes.

This collection was beautiful. I'm surprised by how much I love it. So clean, elegant and feminine. The ruffles linked it back to this season's trends along with Gucci but I didn't feel like it reminded me of Alber.

The bunched up jackets, gold collars and sheer tops all created this austere kind of sexiness. The only thing I would say is that it brought Gianfranco Ferré to mind immediately...so completely original this certainly wasn't.
