i've always thought that frida does great work for resort and this is no exception. it's all very safe and very accessible, but even in these dark times, a gucci dress will sell to a girl who knows nothing about fashion. and there's not a gucci handbag in this collection that your average shopping-mall-customer wouldn't buy.

After seeing the whole collection on style.com, I must say the lack of creativity and absence of genuine 'danger' of this collection are just astonishing. By 'danger', I mean something that will take our vision and perception to somewhere else: something that challenges women in some way. This is too safe for words.

I know it is easy and fashionable to pile on Frida, but the fact that I cannot even muster enough strength to generate a response, or to hate anything in this collection, says that she has indeed reached another point of mediocrity: the utter silence of yet again another disappointment.
