He just became my absolute favorite designer along Tisci and Elbaz...

This collection is by far -until now- the best of the season...

Those thigh cut-outs!! I should be offended, but holy God...they're beautiful.

I've only just got into Haider. This collection is exquisite.
Love the styling even the conehead hair. This is the best so far.

The first coat-dresses remind me of classic Yohji Yamamoto, and the collection is lovely, sleek and gorgeous, though not his best, I think.

Impressed with the way skin baring was presented in this collection;

the big belts;

I am not a fan of this take on draping, but that is more of a taste / preference thing;

The layering and asymmetry were hit and miss with me, but more hits than misses.

It's so luxurious...and I agree that it looked a little "Lanvin". It's Lanvin meets motorcycle chic though.
On the other hand, the looks are heavily styled. So it's not easy to translate it to an everyday look.

This is flawless. Love the long glittery skirt/chunky sweater combo the most.

count me among those that would've choked up with tears in the front row at this presentation. there's something so poignant about these clothes, so balanced, so thoughtful. they simply operate at a higher level than anything we've seen over the past month of fashion processions. the careful steps of this man remind me of the early days of alber at lanvin when he pained over every fold and every seam. in that way, we find this man pulling at and fiddling with the very essence of fashion as we know it today. as someone said, "it's just so pure." even more: there's such a beautiful journey this man takes us on every season as his creative pendulum swings between the modernity of the pant and the belt and the deconstruction and then swings back to the regal nature of the drape and the fold and the silk. this season, he folded in a hearty dose of sex appeal and glamour -- the buzz word of the season, no? -- without losing even an inch of his vision for women.

in this era of fashion upheaval and musical chairs, it's so grounding and emotional to find a man so consistent and serious about the craft as this. i pray his steady hand remains one we get to experience for several years to come. it really puts things in perspective: while some collapse under the weight of a gigantic house, any storied european house would be fortunate to have this man at its helm.

this is... pure art. it seems as though all elements are in harmonious synchrony here.. the clothes drape miraculously, the piled on looks didn't look cluttered or messy, the cuts were glaring but subtle too in a way.. the juxtaposition of the huge obi belts and ruched, drapey tops looked splendid! not a bit overdone or underdone.. even the color palette wasn't overpowering. just imagine how this man can rework a huge brand like Dior..
