apologies for raising this thread...

however I was going to mention 'FILOMENA SALTARELLI', but thankfully Scott beat me to it with all those pics!

Just had to comment on the extensive manipulation & variable use of the suit. Some incredibly audacious, intrinsic developments which i totally love! especially that 3 button touch, found randomly, yet so justifiably on particular pieces.

Picking up on what Lena mentioned...100% agree, there isn't enough tuition, bridging the gap between finding that balance, of creativity & wearability...seems to be a trend throughout most design schools...

However, you could certainly incorporate Filomena's work into developing a collection...the strongest graduate collection i've come across since Masahiro Yonetsu last year, at LCF...

I think all of these collections are truly inspiring, special and artistic. I don't see a dud in the bunch. I am most impressed with the students who manage to mix creativity AND wearability. Excellent across the board, though.

It seems like Hogeschool is truly THE place to be.

Serkan Sarier
Somebody here asked whatever happened to Serkan Sarier, who graduated at the Antwerp Academy in 2001- after working for Ungaro in Paris for a couple of years he was last May appointed design director for womenswear at Caroline Herrera in New York. Anybody read about Anna Wintour being seen in the same Herrera dress 3 times in the last few weeks? that was one of his first designs (for the Cruise collection). Nice start!
