hmmm, I agree with softgrey. The pills say it all: either they took too many or we need them to overcome a headache from this show.

I'm glad to see that others thought the IOC collection was less than inspiring too. I was at the IOC show on Sunday and was surprised at how horrible all of the pieces looked. My boyfriend and I kept turning to each other and remarking "i can make that." The funny thing is, dozens of middle america tourists were watching the show from outside of the Lever House (the walls were glass), and some people were even pointing and openly laughing (esp when the male model in the green elf costume walked by). THe most annoying thing about the show, however, were the two newyork socialites (i don't know their names but I've seen one of them in Vogue - she's married to some artist) who were lip synching to the music track and putting on a performance (they walked along the catwalk too with microphones). I guess they were at least distracting me from the clothes

I also wish they hadn't put the models in front of that garish background (pills? why?). You have to SQUINT to see the clothes...and for your effort, they're hideous. How lovely...

You're right, too right.
We should all move to Europe! NY fashion week has become pure ****, Vogue is going down the drain. Soon New York will be off of the infamous list of: Paris, Milan, London, New York.

and IOC

While I usually don't mind IOC, I couldn't agree more. I just don't get excited about NY fashion week like I do others.

That would be Mother, Inc., composed of vapid (but extremely rich) art producer Yvonne Force Villareal and and her photographer friend Sandra Hamburg. Ugh.

This may sound like a stupid question, but who does Lagerfeld gallery? Surely Lagerfeld himself hasn't done these clothes, or has he?

No, that's not possible. I actually don't see the Lagerfeld Gallery similarity. Lagerfeld probably spits on IOC and Ms. Subkoff, too. And why shouldn't he?!

I can't believe Tara Subkoff is allowed to design. She has the be the most selfish, pretentious twit in fashion.
