i'm almost ready..

at first i wasnt sure..the beginning of the collection looks pretty dated..
especially with the slouchy boots and those wide belts.. i definitely couldve done without those..different footwear would have made a big difference imo.. but as it went on it got better + better.. and now after looking through it carefully i adore most of it..  i love the pants..and this is plaid done really well imo..plus i love the north american native influences...they are beautiful without being too literal or overdone..  a really nice progression from spring imo..

after sorting through this a bit, I've warmed up to it but not totally delved into it 100% ... yet.
the fur will never appeal to me which is to bad because I like the shape of the vests quite a bit. I wonder if the plaid will be flannel which will make it much more wearable and funky. these looks are different, fun and not like anything else I own so it looks good to me. elle.com Last edited by luckyme : 02-03-2008 at 07:48 PM. |

Lovely wearable clothing as always at Isabel Marant.
The only thing I don't particularly like is the lumber-jack sort of shirts. It's been done and its too 'scene' imo. |
