The fashion victims are going to be all over those boots, I don't care how grotesque they are... they're boots by Marant.

I hate hate hate the styling, but I feel like there are some great, chic individual pieces.

If those stretch dresses are riding up to the crotch of the models imagine how horrible they will look on women with thighs.

I was thinking the same. But even seeing past the foot-wear-that-shall-be-ignored-with-effort, I just do not see a lot here to get excited about. Those boxy jjacket cuts seem quite unflattering to me, and even some of the denim and leggings don't look great in the show. The strongest pieces, imo, are the winter whites, especially in knits.

Look at those hideous boots! And people have the guts to say that the McQueen's Platos Atlantis are ugly...

I'm really wondering when the real Isabel Marrant will be back...
PS: Balenciaga called and they want their Sherling jackets back!!
So anyone who makes a jacket with shearling on it is copying Balenciaga?
Give me a break.

I'm hoping they'll be worn with opaque tights, or leggings?

I really like the graphic dresses, the oversized jackets and the Navajo(?) motifs. Has a very early '80s vibe to it, which I like.

Good collection, overall, IMO.

Not so fond of the cut of the trousers (they always look a bit 'off' to me?), but then I never am.

At the end of the day, I think what makes this line popular, is that it's accessible and easy-to-wear, but still relatively luxe.

So, it's for people who would normally like and buy highstreet/mainstreet stuff, but are essentially just looking for a better quality version of it?

I think you've got to remember that not everyone is looking for something that looks typically 'designer' - a lot of people like the look of 'normal' clothes, just not the quality.

Also, her colour sense is invariably excellent.

It looks like a French interpretation of an American mainstream interpretation of Native American clothing. It's quite horrible.
