Im sorry lol what can I make clear for you?. You cant view the Etoile line online, it was presented to the buyers early january. When you are in the showroom, there is a strict policy of no photos But I have noticed a few photos online of several blogs already.

i dont mind this - gives consumers a chance to "catch up" and get the pieces they want.
yes, that-
and also, it's cheaper than developing the fit and pattern of a whole new style...
that's where a lot of man hours go at the big design houses...
and that is also why the fit is better...

this is a big money-saving tactic that is usually employed by more mass market brands...

I think IM is more suitable for a presentation than a runway show.

Some individual pieces are very 'cute' but I want something new from her...she has been using the same formula for years...same skirts, same dresses, same shirts just different colours, patterns and materials every season! And this is definitely her laziest and disappointing collection to date!

I'll never understand this brand. Isn't everything here purchasable from ordinary stores?

But that's exactly where Isabel Marant struck gold, her clothes are a luxe version of ordinary garments. A lot of people, me included, have no absolutely no intention of wearing more than comfortable nice clothes.
Not everyone wants to make a statement, but an awful lot of people still like good quality materials, (a lot of the fabrics she uses not in a million years you will find in any high street store), and still want that designer detail. And that she provides. And it's enough.
The problem with IM for me at the moment from a buyers perspective, is how many linen shirts, capri pants, and lace tops does someone need? I can see some amazing tops with rivets in this collection, but oh, I have already tops with exactly the same rivets she did a while ago. Exactly because her clothes can be worn for years and no one will notice to what season they belong to, there is also no need to buy them again and again. She needs to change the record, and get inspired somewhere else.

.
ITA! One thing I don't understand that most people I know that buy IM aren't honest to themselves like you and just go and say they like the quality and that it is wearable, they make such a fuss about the collection it is really annoying.
