^i doubt that

we didn't get ANY signature shoes/accessories from those collaborations. maybe except for the snake bracelet from the Cavalli collection.

no classic pumps from Jimmy Choo. no ballet flat/sneakers from Lanvin. no Tabi from Margiela.

i hightly doubt H&M will get a version of the Bekett.

I couldn't care less when I saw the news yesterday. I think that after Lanvin I'm done with their collaborations, mostly everything is just pure garbage.

agreed, this was the first thing that came to my mind

regardless, the quality and styling of her line has devolved into glorified h&m so this collaboration seems rather pointless.

It's going to be like any of her collections, but with the prices they really should have.

Isabel Marant has been one of those "it" and "cool" labels at the moment, so it makes perfect sense for the label to reach a wider audience. It's such a perfect time to do this.
While I'm loving this, and I'm hoping there's at least a nice fur jacket ala Fall/Winter 2009, there's no doubt about questioning the difference between Marant's and H&M's products. Isabel does fantastic clothes, but the look is easily attainable at your typical H&M and therefore makes me a bit puzzled what exactly she has up her sleeve. H&M can easily copy her designs and have them in store weeks later after they're presented in Paris, so I hope she spices things up.

Long time fans of Marant will remember that 5 or so years back she wouldn't even allow retailers to sell her clothes online! Her philosophy seems to have changed so much..

I don't hold that against her; people are allowed to change their minds. Online retail landscape five years ago is dramatically different from what it is now. As a business it's smart that you get on with the times or you get left behind.

I do realise that people are allowed to change their minds and I don't hold it 'against' her. I just find it interesting that to buy her clothes you had to email stores to get pictures/prices of what she was selling (I remember having to do this in 2010, so not even 5 years ago), and now she is collaborating with H&M. As she has become more popular the quality of her clothes seems to have decreased while the prices have become ridiculous for the quality, this is what has made me stop buying her clothes. I do still like her old collections though especially A/W 09.

I'm not even surprised it's so bad. I'd like to see the men's line though.
