hate the boots with a passion. the styling, as someone mentioned earlier, is vulgar and annoyingly teenybopper hipster.

up close, the clothing is quite lovely, and the neutral colored pieces are absolutely gorgeous.

Yup.
I just miss normal, level-headed clothing from this line. If I want kooky, I have Sonia. If I want trashy, there's a whole range of Italian designers for that. Isabel is supposed to be about chic discretion for those who want to build a minimal but dynamic French wardrobe.

She needs to sort it out!

Some of the lace pieces are "nice" but there's nothing that's giving me a thrill at the thought of owning/wearing it...

Bloody amazing. The individual pieces are fantastic on their own already, but the styling just takes them to a whole new level. I don't think it's "vulgar" or "trashy", but then again I like boho and pretty much anything E. Alt does.

Totally agreed. Really disappointing. It doesn't look trashy, it just looks like clothes that could be pulled from any generic teenager's hamper. I don't want prarie, I don't want plaid, I just want clothes that I'll wear for more than a season. If I wanted urbanoutfitters I'd go there.
