I completely agree, but we all know that that will never happen.

not as bad as i thought it'd be but still way too corny to appeal to anyone except irony-obsessed hipsters

This reminds me of what Amber wears in the movie Clueless.

I must disagree with you Lena.. welcome to a society with freedom of expression rather than pleasant beiges or safe "daring" valentino's red. Things like that should exist in full force, ... we're plenty of nice chiffons around....

Remember early Moschino ? early Versace? early Mcqueen? current Pugh's works well..all "ridiculous" not?

Also I would rather have this than disguised bad taste that takes chic fashion form in Deacon's knit, or V&R's rigs, vulgar animal prints at D&G or the same old boucle that Lagerfeld is trapped forever & ever.

About it being done before... I'm quite surprised with this comment.. as everything has been done before.. even the "New Look" of the master CD coming from rigid and old fashion corsets of 19th century, the volumes of Balenciaga probably to disguise fat wealthy bodies...

well.. that's fashion in full form, meant to be kitsch , dated, unpleasent and attention seeker and I love it.

Some people might prefer the little black number of Ms Beckham in the cover of Hello.. but this is their problem, surely not mine.
