the men pieces look so strong, it is unbelievable!
wonder if Jil will start producing shoes and bags for this collection since she made a mention of wanting to add footwear to the +J line. It wouldn't be too far fetched since Uniqlo already produces a few styles of shoes each season.
UNIQLO to Launch 2010 Fall/Winter Collection on October 7, 2010
August 9, 2010 (New York, NY) : UNIQLO is pleased to announce the +J 2010 Fall/Winter Collection, created together with fashion designer Ms. Jil Sander will be in store on Thursday, October 7, 2010.
The date marks the one-year anniversary of the original +J launch in October 2009. Within one year, +J has gained worldwide esteem and recognition from a large and highly diversified group of customers.
The +J Fall/Winter Collection continues to explore the territory between couture and sportswear, combining the lightest down jackets with shapely felt coats. Arctic blues, tempestuous greys, and the warm colors of foliage are met by the newest edition of the signature +J white shirt.
Consisting of approximately 150 items, the +J 2010 Fall/Winter Collection offers many possibilities. The essence of +J is purity. "A passport through time and space: Sculptured lines, fluid grace, modern sophistication for everyone."
Uniqlo released the Press Release in English with the prices exchanged to USD. Seems a bit more expensive this season but also with more experimental fabrics as well. With the thirty dollar price hike for the top accessory, I am hoping for a nice surprise.
I am so excited about this - look at the perfect cut of the clothes! She has been experimenting with a more dynamic collar, softer volumes, can't wait to get my hands on them.
I have been disappointed with the Spring Collection 2010 - the jacket material and cut are of flimsy quality, though the cotton ts and blouses are very soft. I hope that the heftier autumn winter collection meets our expectations.
