Is it me, or did he always seem to make more of an effort with his own brand than Dior? This is beautiful. One of the best at Paris so far.
I don't know if it was more effort, but definitely more freedom probably. I don't mind him being replaced at Dior because his collections had become so stale of late, but I really do hope his namesake line won't be discontinued because I always love it.
This is indeed very beautiful. What a way to go out. The whole thing is very sad.
I'm glad they decided to do the presentation. Just because the designer stuffed up doesn't mean his team who put in the hard work should be punished too.

I can't with how beautiful it is. It definitely seems inspired by the photographer Brassai and his images of Paris in the 20s + 30s. Thank you for the images!
This collections somewhat reminds me of what he was doing during the late 90's with Dior and his namesake line. There's an understated provocativeness, cerebral sexuality, and controlled energy that resonates through the clothes.
These are the Galliano designs I most appreciate. When the clothes speak for themselves and not get lost through all the fuss of makeup and stage sets.
So brilliant, genius. I love it all. Very feminine and beautiful. I wish they would've continued with the show. I think I will always be a fan of Galliano's work.
Tbh, I feel that Galliano's work for both Dior and his own label have gotten a bit stale.
But this collection has reminded me of what an absolute genius John Galliano is. These designs are beyond perfection and I honestly can't find something I dislike about it. The colours, the silhouettes, the shapes, the dresses, the coats, the shoes, the hats, etc. It all looks perfect to me. I want to own it all.
