The LVMH / Dior folks should have done a swappity do between the two collections, although if Galliano actually supervised the finalization of this collection, that speaks volumes.

Also, if the setting came about because of recent event that's some serious lemonade out of lemons, because the setting was perfection!

I know, right? Much better than a runway for this collection.

This should have been Dior. It's lovely.
Shame.

Success is the best revenge and the talk about holding out the best designs for his own collection over Dior? Hell yeah! The Dior fall 11/12 collection was horrible John knew what he was doing and to think they renounced his contributions before that ugly show was their own undoing. Yes distance JG from that train wreck of a mess.

This JG f/w 11.12 collection is ethereal he selfishly saved the best for himself as it should be screwing over the Dior label.

Beautiful collection. Elegant, feminine and sexy. The sheer violet dress is beautiful. Such a shame, that a) he didn't work like this at Dior and b) he allowed things to become what they have for him

This is absolutely fantastic. I'm glad the presentation turned out to be a small runway show.
That way one gets to see how the clothes really move and not just "hang".

In a very strange way, it's almost like he has already made his come back and is that much stronger for it! I feel like this collection is a giant "F-U!" in the face of Dior and frankly I think John will be that much better w/o. Dior hanging over his head. I sincerely hope that John will comeback that much stronger! I think it was so inappropriate for Toledano to be @ the show, hasn't he done enough? But the collection is just dreamy. I'm envious of all the pieces, they are entirely want-worthy. Such a strong collection! This and Ackermann "take the cake" of PFW for sure. Beautiful, beautiful collection! The king is very much alive....
