This out did the Dior collection on so many levels. OMG. this perhaps was the best executed JG collection in the past years. How sad!

Only 20 looks but each and any of them so very beautiful! I suppose all that had already been finished before the arrest.

I really love it all!

It is by no means the Galliano of 2004. But this is in its own right an incredibly strong collection. There are hints of originality in some of the cuts (the coat with the fur neck is stunning) and the presentation was heaps better than any of the recent ones. Really pleased he has ended this chapter at least on a note like this with two fingers to LVMH. Bunch of pigs.

Truly a beautiful collection indeed. Much, much better than Dior. The white jacket with the fur collar is absolutely gorgeous, as is the mint outfit on Shu Pei. Truly stunning.

so glad they decided to show, even if it's a presentation rather than runway.

but as mentioned before, it seems like this ended up being a better choice as the setting is really luxe and fits the vibe of the collection.

on the other hand, a runway would've been awesome since Galliano has great casting.

can't add anything that hasn't been said before. this is a great collection, it shows why John is as respected as an artist and why people are still loyal to him despite the recent events. you simply cannot deny talent.

OMG! I love everything about this collection. And the shoes are to die for!

I sincerely hope that John will comeback that much stronger! I think it was so inappropriate for Toledano to be @ the show, hasn't he done enough? But the collection is just dreamy. I'm envious of all the pieces, they are entirely want-worthy. Such a strong collection! This and Ackermann "take the cake" of PFW for sure. Beautiful, beautiful collection! The king is very much alive....
This. I absolutely agree with every word of your post. JG is going nowhere. Yes, his reputation may be tainted but he'll rebuild. And he'll bigger and stronger than ever!

Such a flawless collection. Makes me sad.
There's no doubt he'll probably make a comeback in the distant future,
but right now he needs to just disappear for awhile.

Despite all the things that have happened, this really was a beautiful (and strong) collection.

If LVMH decides to drop Galliano entirely, this is totally their loss.

Shame.
Maybe he decided to go "screw you guys!" and withdraw all his better designs from the Dior collection so he could put them into his own collection.
