another thing...BOUDICCA...remember when they showed in NYC? they never compromised anything...nor ever. but they didn't change their sensibilities because they made their presence in NY.
....and McQueen SS00.....he had models walking on water, around an arena of spikes with two warriors dressed in yashmaks suspended above!....i'm not saying you have to go that far, but you still need to keep your ideas and ethos.

I'm sorry to have to say it, but I agree.

I don't want to sound prejudiced, either (as I'm not), but what is it about designers moving to NY that all but the most original become homogenised?

It's a bit rollercoastery to me,so structures are beautiful while so prints are ugly.

The structure was worse than last season's. Liya and Vlada's outfits were the only few that looked good.

The opening (beige numbers) was his best move. I love beige, white, camel and cream together. It’s always been the silhouettes that drive me crazy at Saunders, they are really awful...Most of this collection looks dated and tired… It contains most of his over used signatures that have little more embarked on trip to the local shop let alone a journey of development.

Same old same old and this time without the strong use of colour… I do like the fan pleat touches, very elegant, but the leather is simply hideous… I have never been able to get my head around why he chose to move so far away from the young, sexy and cool kick *** aesthetic that his graduating collection from CSM MA 02 had…. It was vibrant and fabulous and since then he has continuously churned out this straight-line style…

i didnt look at this collection as a whole at first so i quite like this
some of the details i really like, such as the hip hugging pencil skirt with pleat drapes
as a whole...it is rather unconsistant. im not very familiar with his works back in london other than his last collection so i dont know how he changed
