The fabrics and prints are superb. While cut is clean. Gone are sweeties in jeans and biker jackets. Come the "out of their time" dreamers.

Wow, the second and third from above are really impressive!

But in real life, I would only wear the blazer on the second one with the pattern on beige, contrasting it with black slacks or maybe blue jeans. Wearing the trousers as well would be too much.

i like only the one i'm posting plus the next one with the fab jacket.
what can i say? i was curious to see how Junya is reacting to the
general commercial/suited looks and i'm a bit dissapointed
because is just a part of the suit gang.

apart from this, yes, few or the looks posted are quite superb
but styled in a silly way

thanks for keepings us updated ngth

I like this collection very much. I think Junya is continuing his "real clothes" theme. He made the "new Levis" jeans, biker jackets like sweaters... Now he makes suits in "old", traditional french fabrics and patterns. Is it true that small jackets are also very french? And he mixes them with shirts in vivid prints and pony skin shoes. Marvelous.

That's a very nice way to start the suit bussiness:-) Speaking of money, I think the collection will be huge esp. in Japan, where people love the rich and "lost" hand craft traditions of the Old Continent. I can't wait to see young, avant-garde Japanese wearing those suits :-)

And yes, I do think those suits are very much in Comme aesthetics, too.

Ooh that fourth jacket!

Usually menswear does nothing for me but I really like this line.

I liked this collection just for that "mix".

Boring cuts, ill-fitting trousers and odd-prints? Looks like upmarket Versace, tailored by a mildly-retarded monkey...
