the majority of this doesn't look like fall/winter to me...
unless she's thinking of a west coast fall/winter?

am i the only person that sees miguel adrover's s/s meets a/w 2001 collections,in this? it's really odd....i feel like i'm experiencing deja vu. the shapes, the styling....i just hope it's merely an odd coincidence.

And this is the Karen Walker I've always loved.
![]() I definitely see the Adrover 'air' of this, probably in the shapes?, there's something slightly Middle Eastern about the silhouettes and the heaviness versus the very thin fabrics non? I could hardly say no to any of the pieces here to be frank .. I'm not sure the styling works (it looks a little too juvenile for me, especially in the last half of the show) but when you try to imagine each piece apart, I think they all have their charm and are very representative of what she's been doing for years, especially the first (and strongest) part.. the blues and the floral prints are just delicious to look at. Also the last black coat with the leather part is divine.. I actually think this is very winter-ish but I like how it doesn't feel heavy and it's well-spread from beginning to end. Thanks for all the pictures, Chrissy!

i can never fault a gorgeous floral pattern, but the rest of the collection also holds its own. outside of a few outliers -- that orange dress needs some digesting -- this collection has a lot of great sportswear especially those swishy skirts that give a fun take on that new length we saw for spring/summer.

The hats remind me of the construction workers in my country they used them all the time in winter, in that exact same way. haha
Anyway, definitely like the idea of the yellows and blues too bad some of the coats look a bit too boxy and not flattering at all and the leather sleeves are not that cute. The yellow skirt+grey top+belt is a definite winner. |

Oh Karen
She's done better. People worship her here. She's definitely intelligent enough to produce something more interesting than this. But that semi-leather orange dress is fantastic! |
