yes, I was just in awe looking at the pictures.. I love how the theatrical elements are reduced completely for his Maison collection and it's so short in numbers, and fabrics one would guess!, but the result reaches me closer than anything else he does every season, you can see that every garment, no matter how tiny it is, it's an identity apart, so intricate and.. new.

I can imagine one of these outfits in the pages of Vogue Paris.
I don't like it very much, but the jeans one is interesting. It slightly remind me a JPG dress, don't remember the season.

That's what I've thought so far.
I've never really watched a HC show of his before, this will take a bit of digesting and HQ's for me to really really love it.
The blazer is just sooooo fantastic though... ah....
I really enjoy that it doesn't really matter who the model is, he has us focus on the clothes and really brings forth their representation. I adore that he does this-- it just makes me appreciate the clothes rather than looking at the make-up and the models first.
Unbiased couture, I love it.

I really like the idea of covering the models faces.

The blazer looks like it's made of a foam of some kind - are there any exlanations of this collection?

I like the clothes a lot actually, and I think the denim piece is the most striking. Incredibly beautiful.

However...I know it's trademark MMM...but the masks are getting a bit tiresome for me. I don't mind them, per say, but I think he should try something different

i love what he's done to the leather jacket.. those incised lines..
and the shirt with the gun pointing to the star, seems to be made of paper

i agree they all look so different and new
but not separate from eachother, they really form one collection
something unifying them together... maybe the coarse textures? i also like the beige tight worn underneath

Really love it, like almost everything from Margiela esp.recently. Those first two jackets in post #1 are sensational. The white one looks like 3D!

Thank you for the pictures, Mullet & maffam. I'm happy to see it as a presentation. I always wanted to see Margiela's HC with more light.

The same presentation! Poor models! HAHA!

But I thought this shows lot of texture as compared to typical MMM. Not sure I'm loving it, as it doesn't really look that conventional couture. But again, nothing's conventional for MMM. So...
